Happy Friday! I want to share the card I made for my Stamp & Scrap challenge at SSC! It is all about using items from your sewing basket. I used seam binding (for the crinkly ribbon), cotton batting (sprayed with the same smooch spray that I used to dye the seam binding), plaid fabric, felt and thread. The stamp is from the Delightful Little Things Ippity set. (which I have for sale on my Ippity page click on the tab at the top of the page if you want more information.) Have a fabulous stampy weekend!!

Moxie Fab World Inspiration Challenge
The Moxie Fab World Blog has a challenge going right now to make a card based on this super cute layout!! I had a lot of fun with this! My card uses Unity stamps from the June Kit of the Month and October Afternoon Thrift Shop papers! (Orange flower paper is from My Minds Eye). Card base and blue ink is PTI. I also used some more my fun crinkly ribbon. I seriously can't get enough of this stuff! You still have plenty of time to play so hurry over to the Moxie Fab World Blog.
Ippity Hip Hop
I know this first card looks a lot like the my card yesterday but I just love these flowers!! The paper is from 7gypsies. The stamps are from the Ippity Fall For You and the frame is from Ippity Season of Joy. The next two cards are made completely from scraps from my scrap pile!! Sadly I could probably make 50 more cards with that scrap pile!! Well today is my 24th wedding anniversary so I'm keeping this short. Hope everyone had a safe and happy 4th of July.

HAVE a Happy Independence Day!
So I finally had some time to CRAFT today!! I ended up making several cards and having a great time. I also spent most of the morning ordering pictures 224 to be exact!! So I hope to have lots of layouts to share in the coming days!! This first card was made for the Hip Hop Sketch challenge at Splitcoast Stampers. I used kraft cardstock for the card base and the large rectangle. The printed paper is from 7gypsies. The punch is Martha Stewart. I used PTI felt for the top layer of the flower. The frame stamp from Ippity Regal Greetings was stamped with Unity Ink Burnt Umber and the sentiment is from the Unity June Store Kit. This second card was a super easy peasy card. I used some of my FAVORITE October Afternoon Thrift Store paper! A webster's pages flower and added some yellow crinkly ribbon - I soooooo can't get enough of this stuff!! It is so much fun! My little birdie is from the Ippity Kit What Matters Most and the sentiment is from the Unity June Kit of the Month. Isn't the red and yellow fun together? I willl be using this color combo again! To purchase Ippity stamp kits click here! I will have lots more to share so check back :)

Ippity Hip Hop Monday!!
This layout uses my favorite sentiment from the Ippity set Fall forYou. I thought it was perfect for this photo of Mariah. I also used the pretty butterfly from Now and Always. I was so excited to scrapbook this weekend after making this awesome crinkly ribbon!! I used Shimmerz Vibez (blue) and Smooch Spray (purple) instead of Glimmer Mist and it worked just as good!! I also used the sprays to color cotton batting for the spiral flowers. The rest of the layouts (and card) use some Ippity and lots of Unity. Click any of the layouts to see more detail. The second layout is one that we made during class last weekend but I tweaked it a bit and added this photo of Mariah from her birthday last year.

Another Friends with Flair Friday :)
I made these cards for the Ippity Challenge this week. I love these burlap tags (which I sprayed with glimmer mist). The first card uses an Ippity sentiment from Delightful Little Things and the frame from Season of Joy. I just masked the sentiment after I stamped it so that the frame would fit nicely. I added a little extra highlighting to the sentiment with a souffle pen. On the second card I used the Unity Vintage Ledger stamp and the sentiment is from Ippity A Moment in Time! You can see and purchase all of the Ippity sets by clicking on the tab above.
Unity released a couple of super cute sets - you can check them out along with the list of Friends with Flair participants here.

I have one more thing to show you. This is my FRONT yard!! What a mess! But we will have a new well by next week.

Blogger had a tough Monday
I guess we can forgive them though!! My Ippity Hop Card was done and ready to go yesterday but I couldn't get it posted. I'm so sorry to anyone who hopped by earlier. This card is headed to Unity (along with several others) to be included with the Operation Write Home card campaign that my fellow Ippity Chicks are involved in. What a great cause - check out more information here. And to see the list of all the other Ippity Hop participants and a brand new Ippity Challenge click here.
I used Angie Blom's fabulous tutorial to make this fun flower!! PS I Love You (from the Love in Return Ippity set which I have in stock check the Ippity tab at the top of the page) is stamped in the Unity Brown (it looks black in the picture for some reason) the background stamp from A Moment in Time (also in stock!!) is stamped with VersaMark ink and then chalked with light brown chalk. I added a pretty border, ribbon and stitched around the card to finish this off. I wanted to go with colors I thought a male soldier would like but with a feminine touch if he is sending it to his wife/mom/daughter, etc. Let me know what you think! Have a great Monday :)

Unity Friends with Flair Friday
I made this card for the card challenge group over at SSC. It is a sketch challenge. I used a 6x6 Cosmo Cricket pad material girl. Cardstock is PTI. Stamps are Ippity, if you look closely you can see the burlap stamp behind the flower and sentiment which are from the Ippity kit Faith Blooms. Pearls are Kaiser Craft. Fabric strip (not sure). I inked up the edges and did some stitching to finish it off.To see more fabulous Unity and Ippity creations head over to the Unity Blog for a list to check out!!

Happy June :)
I know I haven't blogged in a while - I was on vacation!! I will have some fun beach pictures and even more fun baby Maci pictures to share with you very soon. Today though, I have a card which is for my F A T H E R challenge at SSC!! Please go check it out over there for more details. (Judy just started a brand new PRIZE format and June's prize for the Stamp & Scrap group is awesome!) I used Basic Grey Basics paper in Kraft and Manilla and Kraft cardstock for the card base. I used 3 stamps the clock is from a Retro set from Unity, the Family is from Ippity a Moment in Time (please click on the Ippity tab at the top of the post to purchase), and the Dad stamp is from a Unity Kit of the Month (not sure what month sorry). I used the Stampin UP embossing die to cut my heart then sanded and distressed it with Distress Ink. I also inked around all the other edges too! The twine is from May Arts and the buttons were colored a bit with a copic marker to "distress" them too.
