Growing in Unity Day 5

It has been a great week of sharing my Unity creations!! Thanks so much for all the sweet comments! Makes me want to blog everyday LOL - I have been very bad about that lately!! For my project today I made a shaped card using a spellbinders grand calibur die.  I also used a new spellbinders die from Blisy (it was a GREAT Price) to make the black frame. I used my favorite scripture stamp from Ippity set Devoted and the heart from Ippity set Straight from the Heart. I used a red copic spica pen for some added glittery fun!!

Hippity Hop Monday!!

For my project today I used lot's of Unity and Ippity stamps! I made gift card holders for my daughters for Easter (at 22 and 16 baskets just aren't all that anymore LOL) . I used the adorable bird from the new April KOTM for the cover (and I will be entering this in the Unity Challenge).  Also I decorated the inside of my card and I will be entering the My Unity Place challenge.  I absolutely LOVE how this turned out and I wish I could have gotten better pictures.  The paper I used through out is LilyBee and I love it!! I used some shimmerz spray, lots of inking and some fun twine to add extra touches!! I ended up putting 5 gift cards in them - one on each side of the insert tags except the last one because I didn't decorate the back of the card.  This fit inside a 4 x 6 envelope.  Ippity sets used are Now and Always and Devoted. (I actually used even more Ippity sets on the other gift card holder but I have not gotten pictures of it yet.)

Don't you just love this time of year? So what sneaks are you loving? I have too many favorites to list!!! So for today I am actually entering some challenges!! This first card is for the Etsy Inspired Challenge. This week Nanny's Room was where we were to find inspiration - there were lots of beautiful pieces to choose from. This is what I chose. For my card I used my new Unity Store Kit Deepest Sympathy and Simply Said.  I know I will use this set a lot because the sentiments are needed and the images are beautiful!! My card is going to friends who just found out he has colon cancer.

For my second card I am entering the Ippity challenge to use brads. This card was inspired by a card my super talented friend Pryn did and I have wanted to do something like this since I fell in love with her card!

and this is mine!  I used brads for the centers of my flowers. I know this picture does not show the pink very well for some reason. I'm Finally Back ** with some Class Cards!!

Cynde and I are busy getting ready for classes next Saturday, January 15th *(had to change this date so sorry!!) - 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. We will have classes first and then time for cropping and visiting with friends. Everything for these five cards and Cynde's layouts will be provided for only $25.00!! Forgot to get this ready last night so this will be a super fast post - you have lots to see today anyway right... Ippity Hip Hop Monday

I am so sorry to be late getting this up this morning!!  This first card I made for the kissing technique this week on Simply Scrapping Crafts.  I inked the flower stamp from Ippity set So This is Love with fluid chalk ink first and then inked my Bit of Burlap stamp with brown - then kissed the flower stamp into the Bit of Burlap (added a little extra brown just at the edges and then stamped onto the cardstock.  Fun technique and great challenge.  The next two cards I made for Kelly's Birthday Ippity Challenge but couldn't decide which I liked better.  All of these Ippity sets are in stock and ready to send out to a good home!! Remember I have Free 6x6 papers, embellishments and Free Handmade Fabric Flowers with every order!!  I will be mailing these cards along with my other Hope you Can Cling To challenge cards!! Another Friends with Flair Friday :)

I got these fabulous paper flowers from Angie Blom and I couldn't wait to use them on a card!! I used Ippity stamps from the Devoted set and a great frame stamp from the Unity June Store Kit. Unity Friends with Flair Friday

I ended up having to make 7 more journals. I have 17 ladies in Bible Study!! They all loved them :)  Since I didn't have any more of the smaller books I covered composition books for these.  I used Fancy Pants Roadshow paper and the Basic Grey Basics paper ribbon (I am loving this stuff!)  My stamp is from Ippity Devoted. Which I have for sale if you click on the Ippity for sale tab above.  Just a little bling and ribbon to finish them off.  Hope everyone has a fabulous Friday!!

H{ippity} Hop Monday

I have one card to share today. The stamp is from the Ippity Devoted set still one of my absolute favorites.  The rest of this verse says, "My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song."  I had to use this paper to go with this verse!  The paper and the paper tape (which I made into a flower) is from 7gypsies.  The awesome decorative border paper tape is from Basic Grey. Twill, lace and button are from my stash. Butterfly ribbon is HL. Have a great Monday!

Friday Fun - it's Friends with Flair

I always look forward to Fridays - and today is a beautiful day here in Missouri!! It's also Unity's Friends with Flair day.  Check out the Unity blog to see a list of "Unity Friends" showing off something they made this week.  My contribution is a layout for a baby album for a gift.  Sorry for the really really bad picture!! My camera battery was just about gone and I took this at the wrong time of day!
