Ahhhhhhh Saturday!!

and my Scraproom is calling me!!  I have lots of projects that I need to work on and I am really in the mood today!!  Now I just have to hope the mojo is in the mood too.  I am not too happy with my card for today.  I started it - stopped it- started again... I love this paper and I needed a banner project for this weeks Paper A La Mode challenge at The Outlawz.  This little banner stamp from Ippity set Party Hat Wishes is so cute and fun to use and looked great with the happy birthday stamp from a past Unity Kit of the Month so I did not think this would be hard at all.  Maybe I am not crazy about it just because I usually use bright colors and I wanted to use these soft colors for something different.  Anyway, let me know what you think.  Do you ever have a card that seems prettier in head than it does it real life? LOL

April Showers Bring May Flowers!!

Ok so I am so sick of RAIN!! I think we have had 23 inches at my house in the last 2 weeks. I am READY for some MAY FLOWERS!! And well I do love me some flowers!!! This card is for the Stamp Something with Wings Challenge. This was a different look for me sorta making the Jillibean Soup paper the focus by popping it up and adding the bow.  The two stamps stamped at the bottom are from the April Unity Kit of the Month.  I wasn't sure about this look at first but I love how it ended up.

For my second card I used the gorgeous color combo from ColourQ.  I had sprayed these flowers already and they worked perfect for this challenge.  I love how this card POPPED!! I very seldom do a white card with no pattern paper! The hat stamp is from Party Hat Wishes Ippity set.  The sentiment is Unity. 

Happy FWF Friday & Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge

Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge this week was to make a card for a child.  I made 31!!! LOL

I just love how this first card turned out!  I used My Minds Eye Fine and Dandy Paper and the Unity March Kit of the Month.  Love these kits!! Oh and my new wonky rectangle spellbinders die - isn't it fun?!!  The second picture is 3 of the 30 cards I made for Maci's birthday invitations.  Mindi helped with the gluing and the handwriting.  I think they turned out pretty cute!!  I used Sweet Treats and Hannah Montana Cricut cartridges and Ippity stamps Party Hat Wishes and Cuppy Cakes.   Check back at the Unity Blog for the rest of today's fun and HAVE A SWEET DAY!!! :)

H{Ippity} Hop Monday and more Class Examples

These are the other 3 cards that I will be teaching on April 15th. I wish you could see the glittery awesomeness on the butterflies!! It was my favorite!! As always all supplies are provided you just need to bring your tool kit and adhesive. I recommend zip dry and photo tape for these projects. H{Ippity} Hop Monday!!

This card is for my daughter's good friend who turned 16 yesterday!! I made the card for today's birthday challenge at The Outlawz you are to use ribbon or string (mine is twine from the twinery) and a circle which is in my DP from October Afternoon.  I also used some bling in random circles. The happy banner is from Ippity set Party Hat Wishes I love how happy and fun this card turned out!  I am also sharing my layout for this week's scrapbook challenge also at The Outlawz.  We were challenged to make a layout inspired by spring.  Mine is a wedding layout (because at the moment  when I think spring I think Michaella's wedding - which will be next spring!) The layout is much prettier in real life. The flower/bling/ribbon is not cream as it appears in the picture but actually off- white like the bride's dress accents.  Stamps are Unity Welcome Baby and Ippity A Moment in Time.

Ok I know this doesn't look like it but I got a lot done this weekend!! I did a couple of scrapbook layouts for the Outlawz design team (which I will be able to show in the coming weeks) and a couple of cards too.  I intended to have a couple more to share today but Sunday did not go as planned... so I do have this one card.  The felt flower was super fun to make (I did this in the class I taught last weekend!!) The card didn't come out quite like I had hoped. But I do love this fun Ippity sentiment from the Party Hat Wishes set (which is in stock!!)  Have a great Monday.
