Triple the Sketch Challenge

My card for the Triple the Sketch challenge. Paper is Bazzill, Prima and K&Co. Stamps are Unity. Metal corners are 7gypsies. Flowers are Prima. Brads are Bazzill. Button is Basic Grey. Click on the image to see it better. For some reason it looks grainy here but big it looks fine.

Some of the graduation cards I made recently. I have to say making the girl cards is a lot more fun than making the boy cards!! I am just not good at these masculine cards. If anybody has any tips, please leave me a comment!
Pretty much everything I have done lately is with Unity stamps. I am loving that company. I even won a challenge with that first card last Thursday during hip hop. If you haven't checked that out yet - you should it's way fun!!

A little bit sad

This weekend Mariah played in her last Rec All-Star Tournament. It was a little sad in a way. I hope that she can continue with soccer by making the high school team next year but we'll just have to wait and see.
Anyway..., can you believe those shoes!! They used to be pink! ~ and click on this last picture and look at it larger. Is it wrong that I think that is funny? Mariah saw it and fell on the floor laughing she said and I quote "she's terrified - I'm a BEAST!!" she really cracks me up:)

Christian Paper Crafts Magazine launch party today at 7:00

and Happy National Scrapbook Day to you all!! I took some great pictures of Mariah and one of her friends last weekend at the Azalea farm near Oak Ridge that I hope to scrap today!! I have also been making lots of cards and posting them over at Splitcoast stampers for the Unity challenges. I promise to have some pictures this week!! Have a great day!

My last challenge of the weekend!!

This card is my take on Sketch No. 10 from Triple the Sketch. It is for a challenge on hapemone.blogspot.com. I love butterflies at Eastertime!

The last Easter pageant performance was today. I have a few good pictures. This is always a favorite scene for me (because one of my girls have been an angel every year for many years!)

Last Post Tonight

And another Challenge from Triple the Sketch!! This is my take on this week's sketch. *just a little note - for all of the cards I did today I went through my scraps folder and picked patterned paper, then I matched the cardstock, ink and embellishments. This card (since I started with the sketch) took me about 15 minutes!! The last one that I posted that I really struggled with took me 2 hours!!! Another reason I LOVE the sketches!!

Not exactly

what was in my brain when I started this card ~ and not exactly my favorite of the day. But I love the stamps (also new ones from Unity) and the little frame is cut from my cricut (the new lyrical letters). What should I have done differently? Any suggestions?... Anyway, this is for another of the Triple the Sketch Challenges - this one on gloriascraps.blogspot.com - check it out!!

Another challenge :)

I love Triple the Sketch! They had their first anniversary yesterday and a very fun blog hop!! Some serious talent let me tell you. They also have lots of prizes to "inspire" and challenge us so this card is for the challenge at danielle holsapple's blog. Check out the blog hop before Sunday - click the link on the sidebar!!!
I love my new Unity Stamps! This quote is from a set I just got yesterday! I'm playing some more so maybe I'll get another card on here before the end of the day!

Cardvarks Challenge

I have decided to start trying some of the various challenges that are out there. I have always loved the sketches but I thought if I did some of the challenges it would help get me motivated!! This card turned out pretty nice - we always hate having to do sympathy cards. I even took a nice picture but then couldn't get it uploaded so once again I am falling back on the scanner which really made the colors look awful! But you get the idea. Check out the site I have a link on the sidebar! The cards are amazing.

I made this card for a friend who lost her son yesterday. It is so unbelievable hard to think about losing a child. He was only 36 years old.
*Edit: I got the photo to load but I was afraid to delete the other picture and not have it linked right. Amazing how much different a photo looks compared to a scan!
