Mini Book of my brother's kids at our dad's farm in Nebraska

I used my cricut to cut the pages out of chipboard (using the chipboard blade) then out of Upsy Daisy papers (and a little Fancy Pants paper). I didn't want pointy edge so I used my Fiscars Border punch to cut the points off. I glued the papers onto the chipboard and glued the pages together (to make it nice and thick 2 pieces of chipboard makes each page). I painted the edges of each page with Making Memories Manilla paint. All the stamps that are used on this project are Unity. The pictures are 5 x 5's from MPix. You can click on any of the pictures to see more details. I know I didn't do a real good job taking pictures of this project. The light was a little harsh this morning when I was taking them. Pink Persimmon/Triple the Sketch Contest!

This card is for a challenge at Bitten by the Bug It is a challenge blog for people who love their Cricut!! I have definitely been "bitten by the bug" and apparently so has Cynde (ha ha ha)!! She is blaming me for "creating a monster" - I think she has ordered 5 cartridges and the expression over the past 2 weeks!! ANYWAY the challenge was to use the sketch they posted and a flower from any cartridge (I used the plumeria from Life's a Beach). They also have prizes for some of the challenges so you should check it out!!

This is a page that was inspired by Sketch No. 60 over at Triple the Sketch! The title says Sweet friendship. Michaella just loves Caiden! She had him in class and has really grown to love him. She picks up him and his sister when she get off work from their daycare just to spend time with them. These pictures were from last June. Michaella was in a wedding and at the same time little Caiden was in a different wedding. Michaella volunteered to leave the reception for the wedding she was in to pick up Caiden and keep him. He was so tired in these pictures. But he was very happy to see her and was ready to go home with us.
