Unity Friends with Flair Friday and a Sale!

If you haven't seen all the Unity CoBrands check them OUT!!! Exciting Stuff - gorgeous stamps and a SALE!!! I just received the new IOD ones and while I didn't have much time to play yet am already in LOVE with these and they go so beautifully with Ippity stamps...
For this first card I used stamps from IOD Devotion Collection and the Provencial Collection: Paris along with Ippity stamp You Deserve (which I have in stock and ready to ship with some fun freebies!!)
For my Christmas cards I paired the Jillibean Soup Blessing Fall from Heaven  with Ippity Season of Joy!! I only had time to make 50 of these and really needed at least 100!! How about you ready to start earlier for next year?  Season of Joy is a perfect set to get you started and I have this in stock as well!!

The hop continues - check out the Unity Blog for a list of all the participants!

Ippity Hip Hop

So how is everyone's Christmas preparations coming along?  I am STILL making calendars!  I only have 6 more so maybe next week I will have something new to share LOL!! I am also still so very hooked on the Sing a New Song set so yep you get to see one more calendar using my new favorite birdie!! I also thought this Quotes a'la Happy quote was perfect for calendars. The quote Take Time to Laugh from a Unity Kit of the Month is also perfect for these I added Just Because from Ippity kit How You Doin' isn't it cute!!  Michaella and I made 12 calendars for her friends and co-workers today too!! I don't have pictures of hers yet but they turned out cute too!!  Last project is inspired by SSC DT Theresa Lee!! She did an awesome tree out of a paperback book you can see it here.  I had to make one too.  I stamped Dots for Sure on mine using red Ippity ink and also used a stipple brush to add more red to my old hymnal paper before folding it.  I also added some glitter.  It turned out really cute in real life.  Enjoy your monday!!

OK are you ready for my project?  Well who else has older kiddos that are really hard to shop for? Or anyone on your list that you like to give gift certificates too?  Here is a super cute way to make gift card giving (and receiving) WAY more fun!! (side note - sorry for the silly bow on top the twine was not messed up when I got this ready but I guess I fiddled with everything too much when I was getting the picture placement ready - I have actually decided to add a big cut-out snowflake in the center of the blue bow but didn't have time to get that done for the hop.)  Back to the project...

The paper is My Minds Eye and is very glittery!! I used May Arts ribbon for the bow and Ippity stamps on the tag.  The border punch is Martha Stewart.

I used two sheets of paper cut to 10 1/2" square. Scored them at 3 1/2" to make 9 squares. I glued the two papers together in the center square only. Cut off the squares at the four corners and then glued only the edges of the 4 outer squares to form pockets. I cut half circles to allow for pulling out the gift cards. The box lid is also cut 10 1/2" squared and then scored to that the center square is just slightly larger that 3 1/2" so that it fits down nicely over the box. You can cut the edges of the lid with a decorative border punch for a little extra flair! I also thought it was fun to add another layer of pockets by gluing in another box cut to 9" and scored at 3". I will then fill this with some $5.00 gift cards to the girls favorite fast food places, a few to their favorite places to shop and maybe even put in a gift certificate for a pedicure! We'll see :)

Well have lots of fun on the rest of the hop!!! and don't forget to leave comments - (you know how much I love to give away fun Ippity stamp surprises!!!)
