h{Ippity} hop and BoBunny

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas - enjoyed family, friends and food - and made some time to reflect on the ultimate gift JESUS!!

Well, with all those Christmas cards sent what is a girl to do?  Dive right in to some Valentine paper I say!!  I love printed paper!  (almost as much as Unity and Ippity stamps!!)  This is a fun patterned paper from BoBunny.  I usually layer lots of printed paper on my cardstock card base but on this one I just made the card from the printed paper and stamped right on top of it!!  Guess what the kraft paper is... repurposed gift wrap roll!!  I had never seen gift wrap rolled onto rolled up paper but this was and I just couldn't throw it away!!  but instead of cluttering my room with rolls I cut out several shapes with my spellbiders dies and then put the shapes under some heavy books to flatten out.

This Ippity Love background stamp has quickly become one of my favorite stamps ever!!  The fun birds are adorable too!!  The printed paper is double sided so it had a fun pattern inside too.  I don't know what I will stamp inside yet.  The sentiment on the front is from this month's Unity store kit.  Which is also super adorable.  Michaella used it to make some fun tags for Derek for her 12 days of Christmas gifts.  I didn't get pictures but they were all super cute.

Hop on to Jess for more inspiration! and don't forget to check out the Ippity challenge for a chance to win PRIZES!! Have a great week.

Love the layout Rona. He is a doll. I like the use of the numbers under the picture, the various colored strips and the use of "Hello" tag. Great imagination!

Growing in Unity Day 3

This is my layout with the cutest little guy you have ever seen!  I am so upset that I couldn't get a good picture.  (you can see it a little better if you click on it) Lots of great stamps on this one.  I used my brand new December KOTM, last month's scrapbook kit, and a great Ippity kit Life's Little Moments!  I love that kit - did you notice that I stamped the fun bracket twice to make a cute box?  It is hard to line up perfectly (I did it once out of 6 tries on my practice paper) but you can't tell when you use a few little pearls.  I thought it was a fun look.  The papers are My Mind's Eye and Piggy Tales. The ink is Unity Burnt Umber - anybody else think this is their favorite ink now?  I love mine!!

Have a very Merry Christmas.  I will be back on Saturday to draw a name from all your fabulous comments for a free Unity Single!!

Day 2 Growing in Unity

This is my favorite way to make gift certificate holders.  For my oldest daughter's 18th birthday I made a whole book of these and attached them with rings.  I put gift cards from all of her favorite places in it.  It is a tiny brown bag.  I stamped on cardstock with my Ippity stamps and stitched it to the bottom of the bag.  Don't you love this butterfly stamp!  I love stamping it on this polka dot paper.  I usually glue the flaps together on the inside of the bag so that it holds the gift card better.  I made a tag to attach the gift card to.

Enjoy your Tuesday - I will be back tomorrow with another layout.

Ippity Hippity Hop & Day 1 Growing in Unity

Can you believe Christmas is only a few days away?  We had a wonderful weekend - finishing our shopping, wrapping lots of presents, doing some great baking with friends and today's wonderful service at Church.

I entered this layout in the Ippity Design Team Challenge.  I love the way it turned out.  But, the winning designers are fabulous and I know they will have great stuff for us.  I will be back tomorrow and Wednesday with more Growing in Unity projects.

H{Ippity} Hop

2 more of the Christmas cards I made this weekend. The goal was to finish and start sending them out tomorrow! I don't think I have enough which I hate because then I have to be careful with my list (I may try to squeeze in a little more stamping time tomorrow after work). Then I HAVE to get started on buying and wrapping LOL!! I am seriously taking the splitcoast challenge to make 10 Christmas cards per month starting in January!! Hope you have lots of fun along the H{ippity} Hop trail... next stop is JenMarie. And be sure to check out the Ippity blog for the full list and the another fun challenge!

I think I am about half way done with my Christmas cards!!

still not sure if I really like this one...
love this snowflake from Bright & Merry Winter Wishes!! Paper is glittery My Minds Eye!!

This is one of the pages from the 6 x 6 Webster Pages. The paper is so pretty I didn't need to do much to it for a nice simple card! The stamp is from Clear Dollar Stamps. I love Christmas messages with a beautiful meaning like these.
Another couple quick easy cards with my favorite Unity pointsettia stamp!!
the adorable Ippity Snowman with a nice clear dollar stamp message.

more Christmas cards for Friends with Flair

What do you think bow or knot? I can't decide LOL!! The paper is from My Mind's Eye. I sprayed the beautiful snowflake that JPScraps gave me with glimmer mist to make it match the paper. The sentiment is from the AMAZING Bright & Merry Winter Wishes.
Don't you just love these Ippity Trees!! I have an awesome kit in stock if you're interested. I added some stickles for some extra sparkle to go with the fun glittery paper! Only about 50 more cards to make - I sure hope I can get them done before Christmas LOL. Oh and I totally forgot to announce the winner of Little Me - it goes to NIKKI!! SURPRISE - okay she was the only entry but wow what an awesome page!! I'll get your stamps to you this weekend Nikki.

Not feeling well today but...

I got a few Christmas cards done last night.

Isn't this paper pretty! It is Webster's Pages petite papers 6 x 6 pad. I love the soft vintage feel. This Unity poinsettia is going to be on lots of my cards this year. I just love it!! The bottom card is my favorite so far. I cut out some of the poinsettia layers but you can't see it much on this picture - it looks more dimensional in real life LOL!! I will have more cards to post tomorrow.

These are the Christmas cards I made for our office to send out this year. The black and cream paper is flocked and I just loved it!! I also used my new bow maker on the Ultimate Crafter's Companion to make the bows and let me tell you I don't know how I ever lived without it LOL!! It sure made that part of this process a lot faster. This is 52 cards!!! I ran out of paper and have to get some more before I finish the last 15 or so. Now I need to start on my own cards!! No one ever gets their card from me early :)

H{Ippity} Hop

Yeah our first hop!! Start at the Ippity Blog and be ready for lots of awesome inspiration!! For my card I used the adorable little house from Devoted and one of the sentiments from Just Wanted to Say! I just got the Ultimate Crafter's Companion so I wanted to give it a try. The little embossed heart and the lines around the edges were from that. I colored in my house with Copics and sanded my embossing just a little. The flower was from the SWEETEST JPScraps! I love the little pop of red with this color combo. I can't wait to show you what else I worked on this weekend. (check back tomorrow!)

Hop over to the very talented Stephanie next :) Hope you have a great Monday!
