FWF Friday and Class examples!

Don't you just L♥O♥V♥E this new LYB Elizabeth Park line of paper?!!  I will be using this layout for some pictures of Maci playing outside!  (Is it wrong to have the layout before the pictures? LOL)  This two-page layout along with the card here are projects I will be teaching on Friday night April 15th.  You can click on the picture to see it larger.  The second page fits a 5x7 photo perfectly or you can use a 4x6 with a mat.  I think this will be perfect for any outdoor pictures, pictures of flowers or pretty trees, etc.   I will have 3 more cards as well and Cynde will be teaching 2 layouts!!  If you are interested in signing up for the class - shoot me an email!!  AND if you are loving these Ippity stamps as much as I do click here and order some for yourself!! I have some sweet prices and awesome freebies!!

*note for class - please bring your normal scrapbook tool kit along with adhesive that works well with ribbon, scissors and 3D foam squares.

H{Ippity} Hop Monday!!

This is one of my favorite projects ever!! I made this when I saw the All Things Unity challenge to use bling (I had just gotten this fabulous new fairy dust glitter from clearsnap LOVE THIS!!) but I also had to have a wall-hanging for The Outlawz Scrapbook DT challenge. I made the rolled flowers with old hymnal paper and my new floral doily spellbinder die. Then I added glue to the edges and glitter! The pearls in the centers of the flowers were colored with a copic to match the ribbon.  The shape is fancy pants chipboard.  I painted it with gesso then with MM paint.  While it was still wet I sprinkled glitter all over it.  I used silk ribbon for the hanger and for the ruched border. I used the Amazing Ippity Sing a New Song set - love this one and it's in stock and I would love to ship one out to you!!  This looks so great with the super sweet picture of Maci :)  Enjoy the hop - you can find the rest of the participants on the Ippity Blog.

FWF Friday

I made these cards for this cause.  Isn't that awesome that a 5th grade boy wants to send thank you cards to every single deployed American soldier!! Love it!!  These cards were a messy adventure!! I loved this MM paper with the stars cut out but the light baby colors just wouldn't work so I painted it with gesso.  Then I used red smooch spray instead of ink to stamp the stars (Ippity set Authentic Man) and ink the edges. The blue paper is older from MM it is super sparkly but you can't tell in this picture!  The sentiment is from the Unity September Store kit. I hope to ink up my KOTM stamps this weekend!  Have you joined yet? They are awesome!! Be sure to head back to the Unity Blog for more inspiration and have a great weekend.

H{Ippity} Hop Monday!!

This card is for the Ippity Challenge inspiration photo - I was inspired by the flowers :)  and also for the All Things Unity Challenge to use Bling - I used Fairy Dust glitter, smooch spray and large pearls that I colored with a copic to match the purple.  The paper is BoBunny which I folded up to make a pocket. Stamps are from Ippity Sing a New Song and Ippity Life is the Journey.  I cut old hymnal paper with my new floral doily Spellbinders dies! Love it! They made the cutest flowers!!  I will be using this one a lot!! OK have a great Monday and head back to the Ippity blog for more Inspiration.

One more ...

birthday card for the All Things Unity challenge!  I also used buttons to qualify this one for the Clear it Out challenge.  The paper is Echo Park Little Girl.  I just used the solids but all that line is adorable.  I used an adorable Unity Itty Bitty to stamp the background and the little birthday chicks. I hope Molly likes it - I think all little girls like to see their name so hopefully these fun chipboard letters makes this one special!!

Have you seen the Unity Kit of the Month?  Love it!!! Mine was in my happy little mailbox when I got home from work!! Can't wait to play!

I had this adorable Unity itty bitty that had not yet seen ink and I got a new spellbinder's die so I had to play!! So for today's card I used two fun new things with some stuff from my stash!  The card blank I have had forever, the DP is a scrap and the button is from my stash (so I could enter the button challenge at Clear it Out Challenge!!) and of course some baker's twine from the Twinery (I know I can't seem to do a card without it lately!!)

Butterfly inspiration

Today is a special butterfly blog hop started by the super talented and sweet Eva!!  Click on the photo above to see a special post from her including lots of prizes and lots of inspiration from many talented crafters!  For my card I used a beautiful sentiment stamp from Ippity set Delightful Little Things and a sweet butterfly stamp from Ippity set Now and Always.  This quote means so much to me!  Just like a butterfly I was transformed into a new creation when I placed my trust and my life in Jesus Christ as my Savior!! and I am planning for a miracle... Read 2 Corinthians chapter 5 and see for yourself!!

FWF Friday!!!

I was asked this afternoon to make a card for a lady who is so super excited that her daughter is getting engaged! My card was inspired by this card by Christi on the DT hop. It is so funny to me how my mind works. I am the most forgetful person EVER - I hopped through all the blogs this morning and then when my friend asked me to make the card I thought I am going to use this stamp that I haven't used in awhile because I saw it on the hop. I could not remember who's blog I saw it or anything else about the card but as I was getting ready to post this I wanted to make sure I gave the artist credit so I went through the blogs again and found the card. Turns out I was more inspired than I originally thought!! I guess my brain also was inspired by the colors!! LOL Thanks Christi for the inspiration - loved your adorable card!!  So here is my card - which I am also entering in the Unity Challenge to use a heart. My sentiment is Ippity So this is Love and the inside of the card says Love and Laughter.  Have a great weekend. For more Unity inspiration start at the Unity Blog.

Have you see the March Kit of the Month yet?  I can not wait to get this one!! I have been a member for well over a year and I have never regretted getting these kits!! They are amazing!! Check it out!!

I am having so much fun entering challenges the last few day!  This card is for the Stampin' for the Weekend Spring challenge. (what says spring more than flowers and butterflies!)  I used the gate stamp from a Unity kit (that I can't remember) and the sentiment stamp from the Unity With Sympathy. Flower is Prima; Paper is Fancy Pants and twine is from The Twinery.

Play Date Cafe Challenge

This card is made for the Play Date Cafe challenge to use black white and a splash of color!  I made the card in the previous post and really liked it but then decided it would have been pretty with a pop of color too!!  So when I saw this challenge I decided to make another using what was already on my desk!  Plus my hubby needed a sympathy card for a co-worker so I whipped this up.  Stamp is Ippity from the Regal Greetings set. May Arts silk ribbon; Twinery twine; Blingage is Teresa Collins; Button is Jenni Bowlin; Prima flower.

Unity Friends with Flair time again!!!

I have two cards today. The first uses my new Faith set from Unity - L♥VE this set!!!  I added some stickles around the edges of the die cut shape to match the feel of the little flower.  I like how the pink really made the card pop!  The papers used here were scraps from my stash.  I am inspired by a new challenge blog started by two sweet ladies I met on the Unity board at SCS it's called Clear It Out - their first challenge is anything goes so this card is being entered in that challenge.

My second was supposed to be a fun springy birthday card for my mom.  I used Basket Full of Wishes which is an adorable itty bitty but I'm just not sure I really dig this card.  Enjoy your weekend and today's hop!! See the rest of the list at the Unity blog.
