Well it looks like I neglected this blog all week!! Today I can show you these two cards that I have over on Simply Scrapping Crafts. My first two cards as Design Team!! How fun is that. These are great challenges and you still have time to play.
The first is a color challenge in the card challenge group. I used PTI cardstock, ribbon and butterfly die. GCD paper for the light pink, Crate paper for the green, Spellbinders die, Webster Pages AWESOME ribbon flower and (gasp) not a Unity stamp on this one!! But no worries I have lots of other Unity cards!!
My second card is for the Technique Challenge Group - to Distress!! I used lots of distressing techniques!! The stamp is from Unity's Donna Downey Insightful Meadow. I stamped it on the green paper (from Kaiser Craft) then I masked the image and sprayed it with Shimmerz Spritz in Mudpie. The I took the mask off and gave it a few more sprays. I used Tim Holtz Distress Stickles to add some sparkle to the top of the wildflower. Then I distressed the edges and used some Tim Holtz Distress ink. I stamped the Ippity sentiment on a tag from the same Kaiser Craft 6 x 6 pad - inked up those edges - added some stitching and some ribbon - then put it on the card base (which I sanded first) from the Core'dinations Cosmo Cricket embossed pad!!
Card 3 is my 3-D flower card for the Ippity Challenge this week. Paper is Bazzill and Crate Paper; Stamps are from Devoted and Where You Should be Ippity sets; the flower is Prima Sprites.
Card 4 is for one of the Unity Anniversary Challenges which was to use trees or birds (mine has both!!). Paper is Cosmo Cricket and Core'dinations.
Hope you have had a great Unity Anniversary Party week - I know I have!! If you haven't joined in any of the fun yet - HURRY over to the Unity Blog and check it all out!!! Don't forget the new KOTM will be released tomorrow - and there is a NSD party over on SSC!! Check it out if you get a chance - I have 2 challenges and a game and will be giving away some fun Ippity prizes!!

CAS-tastic
There is a new challenge blog called CAS-tastic Wednesday Challenge blog and there first challenge is anything CAS!! AND just for fun I decided to see how many challenges I could put into one card! I love doing challenges but have never tried to put more than one into one card so here is my first attempt at "piling it on"!!
Pile it On #15 - Is Spring Finally Here - check - flowers and butterflies are springy!
Cute Card Thursday #108 - Touchy Feely - check - I just got some pink felt!!
Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenges - Use a Flower - check - what better way to use pink felt!!
Stamp Something - Something layered - check I layered pearls and button/ribbon over my felt.
Creative Belli Blog #89 - Die Cut Shapes - check butterfly is a PTI die cut and the flower is a circle nestie
So that is 6 challenge in this little card!! AND I loved it so much I made 5 of them!!! I needed 3 baby girl cards and I just couldn't stop once I got started LOL!!
So I have been showing so much stuff lately that I have been making for Mindi I thought I would show you MINDI!! This first picture is my daughter, Michaella (standing) and Alynda - they did a fabulous job with Mindi's shower. The second (ok she will probably kill me!!) but it was just so cute - this is BEFORE the shower started!! She had that chocolate everywhere!! - I am with you Mindi it was yummy!! The last picture is my youngest daughter Mariah with Mindi - I had to put that one in here because it is the only one that really shows Mindi's belly good!

h{Ippity} hop
Thanks to Angie Blom I found a great new place for challenges, shopping and inspiration. You definately need to check out Simply Scrapping Crafts. This layout is for April's Week 1 Sketch Challenge (yes, there is a new sketch every week on Saturdays (and prizes!!). There are also lots of other challenge groups to join. I joined a technique challenge group, a card group, a color group and more!! My layout below will go in Mindi's baby book (only 5 more weeks until Maci arrives!! - we had a shower for her today!!) I made lots of fun felt embellishments. I cut the felt with my spellbinders dies. For the white flower I used a running stitch and then pulled it for a scrunchy flower look. I love how it turned out. The papers are BoBunny Jazymne and Double Dot and Basic Grey Kioshi. I also used Core'dinations cardstock. I used my new fabric thickers for the word new and an Ippity stamp for the word family. (the journaling block is Unity - January KOM) And speaking of Ippity - there will be new releases on May 13th and I will have them all available for you!! If you have any questions about this layout or Ippity stamps, send me an email!! Have a great Monday!

Friday Fun - it's Friends with Flair
I always look forward to Fridays - and today is a beautiful day here in Missouri!! It's also Unity's Friends with Flair day. Check out the Unity blog to see a list of "Unity Friends" showing off something they made this week. My contribution is a layout for a baby album for a gift. Sorry for the really really bad picture!! My camera battery was just about gone and I took this at the wrong time of day! This is the Simple Scrapbook Sketch Challenge that the lovely Renee Dezember had for us this week on the Splitcoast Forum. These are a lot of fun!! I used the pretty little frame from the December 08 KOM and the sentiments from This is the Time (mini set). The pretty heart is from Ippity Devoted. If you would like to order the Ippity Devoted set (or any other Ippity set) I would love to send it your way. Send me an email!! My papers are from Fancy Pants, GCD (pink) and some new Dear Lizzy. Have a Fabulous Friday!!

Simon Says Stamp Challenge
Simon Says make a card for a child!! I can do that :) For more information about the challenge or about sending the cards to Make a Child Smile or Post Pals check out the blog here. The paper is from Sassafras Lass. The stamps are Unity and Studio Calico (star) which I masked, cut out and then popped up. It was fun I should do kiddo cards more often!!
Etsy Inspired Challenge #83
This week's featured Etsy shop is The Mouse Market. Absolutely adorable jewelry and mini items! I LOVE LOVE LOVE ice cream and this little barrette caught my eye. This 2 page layout will be going in the Baby Album I am making for Michaella's best friend. I thought this Imaginisce paper was fun (especially since Mindi works at American Ice Cream!!) not soooooo babyish but really cute! I also added some little mini butterflies to go along with the mini theme here! Fun challenge (see the EIC blog here) I will have to try this again. I used an Ippity journaling block stamp from the Ippity set Life's Little Moments. (which you can purchase from me along with any other Ippity set!! - click the blinkies to the right to see all the sets available - send me an email with any questions - I do free paper and embellishments with every set!)
